Mrs. Leah McKain

Leah McKain has been at SHS for eight years, after teaching at the elementary level for 12 years. She teaches Fiber Arts, Art III, Art IV and AP Studio Art and is the Art Dept. Chairperson. She attended Kutztown University of PA for her Bachelors of Science in Art Education, and has also received a Masters Equivalency in Education. Mrs. McKain is an advisor for SHS’s Amnesty International, a Class Advisor and is also involved in the district’s Diversity Committee.
Ms. Maureen R. Monczewski
Maureen was granted a B.A. in Professional Art, M.F.A. in Drawing and Painting and Art Education Certification, K-12 from Marywood University, Scranton, Pa. Ms. Monczewski has painted 19 commissioned murals to date and her work is in many public and private collections. Maureen is a working artist as well as educator and continues to exhibit her artwork; she has been teaching Art to grades 10 through 12 at Stroudsburg High School for the past 7 years. mmoncz@stroudsburg.k12.pa.us
Mrs. Sheena Tennery
Sheena Tenney has been teaching at SHS for 5 years, she teaches Art, Sculpture, and Ceramics. She attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She holds a BFA and a BS in art education. She is the advisor for Art Club. stenney@stroudsburg.k12.pa.us
Mr. Jeff Warner
Mr. Warner has been teaching in the Stroudsburg Area School District for 23 years. He graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in Art Education (BS) and has a M.ED in Multi-Cultural Education from Wayne State University. He has been a coach, director of Set Painting for Musicals and Former Art Club Advisor. He teaches Jewelry Construction, Ceramics, Advanced Jewelry and Advanced Ceramics.jwarner@stroudsburg.k12.pa.us
