Mountaineer Wrestling ScheduleThe wrestling team finished the 2008-2009 season as MVC Champions by defeating six time champions Pleasant Valley 32-30 in a thrilling victory. Their final record was 15-5 and competed in the District XI Team Duals. The Mountaineers had five District XI place winners: Allen Marvin 7th, Kevin Knowles 6th, Tyler Lauchaire 4th, Zachary DuGan 2nd, and Matthew Transue was a Distirict XI champion. Zachary Dugan went on to place 4th at North East Regionals, and Matthew Transue won the North East Regionals and he qualified for PIAA AAA State Tournament. Zachary DuGan also won the Lehigh Valley Chapter of Wrestling Officials Scholarship. The wrestling team would like to thank all their supports they had this year during this championship season.
